Cara Doc is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Northern Ireland.

Her debut album, ‘Ode to the Oversoul’ is a collection of laid back, original songs encompassing themes including the intrinsic human curiosity to explore and question spirituality, challenging the notion of a pervading spirit encapsulating everything in the universe.

The album is also a personal reflection of close relationships, highlighting both the positive and negative aspects of love, family, and mental health.

The inclusion and emphasis of vocal harmonies on all of the album tracks demonstrates that Cara Doc is inspired by artists, such as Emmylou Harris where vocal harmony is inherent to their work.

Other major influences include ABBA, REM, Nick Drake, Spirit, The Jayhawks, Portishead, Massive Attack and Mazzy Star.

‘Ode to the Oversoul’ is due for release later in 2022.
